Help Stop Homelessness

Making room for young people.

Get Involved

Open Homes is a homelessness charity with a difference: we work with churches, charities and individuals in Nottingham to shelter and support young people aged 16-25yrs from the moment they are made homeless. Our volunteers open their homes to a young person giving them food, shelter, a hot shower making them feel safe and cared for.

What our Young People Have to Say...

"The best thing about Nightstop was knowing I wasn’t sleeping on the streets. The hosts always checked in to see how I was doing."

"The hosts made it feel like I was at home. I could have food and sit and talk with them."

"My favourite thing about Nightstop was being able to stay with lovely people."

"It was so homely. It made me look at people differently because I learnt that they can help."

"They gave me toothpaste, shampoo and other things that I needed. I was able to shower."
